Are there Contraindications I should know about?

Prodefine Deep must not be used under the following circumstances:
1. Injections in the periorbital zone (eyelids, under-eye bags) or blood vessels.
2. Augmentations of mammary tissue or bone, tendon, ligament, or muscle implants.
3. For patients with autoimmune diseases, immunotherapeutic drug treatment, hypertrophic scars, keloids, pigmentation disorders, serious allergies, infections, inflammatory processes near the treatment area, coagulation disorders, or hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid.
4. Pregnant, nursing, or individuals under 18 years of age.

What are the Warnings I Should Understand About?

During injection, there is a rare risk of material inadvertently entering blood vessels, potentially causing vascular occlusion, abscess, necrosis, or embolic phenomena. Aspiration should be conducted before injection to ensure the needle is not within a blood vessel. Avoid using Prodefine Deep with other injectable products or mixing it with other preparations prior to use.

Patients taking medications to slow blood clotting or anticoagulant medication should consult their doctor, discontinuing anticoagulants at least 14 days (about 2 weeks) before receiving Prodefine injections.

What Precautions Should My Doctor Advise Me?

Do not use on patients with ongoing infections or inflammatory processes near or at the injection site. Avoid use in areas where other implants have been performed and refrain from simultaneous use with other injectable products.

What Possible Adverse Reactions Should I be Made Aware of?

Following Prodefine Deep injections, potential adverse reactions include temporary pain, itching, changes in pigmentation, and altered tissue density at the injection site. These reactions typically resolve within a week. Small oedemas may also appear temporarily.
